thinking about qroier and how he approaches bobbys death is making me so sad like i genuinely can’t remember the last time he visited the second floor of the house or went up the tower

when he’s looking after a different egg, he puts them to sleep in the living room. he says it’s comfy enough in there, no need to go upstairs. it’s not even discussed

he’s been calling richas hijo more and more, but when he goes to tell a story his first instinct is still to refer to himself as tio

i guess in his head and in his heart he’s still simply bobby’s dad, obviously. and so the room upstairs is still bobby’s room. the same way the tower is still bobby’s tower

it makes me think if this is his way of retaining the memories — like jaiden does, reenacting the best parts so she’ll keep them safe with her forever —, if he just doesn’t touch any of it, if every space bobby once occupied remains unaltered, maybe roier can keep going. maybe then he won’t need to face that so much has changed

QSMP Actors AU where Quesadilla Island is the set of a reality TV show, except only the NPCs (and a handful of Islanders) know it's a TV show and the rest of them think it's 100% real.

  • Quackity knows because he's supposed to help guide the show in a certain direction if things get too chaotic / off-track, but he doesn't know everything the production team has planned.
  • Phil knows it's real because he's observant and noticed the cameras & microphones on the first day. The crew let him do his own thing and break the 4th wall because the audience loves that he's so self-aware.
  • Vegetta knows it's a TV show because he's been on other famous shows (cough, Karmaland) and he's was invited by a member of the team (Rubius). He's under the impression that everyone else knows it's a TV show, but they're super in-character all the time.
  • Wilbur knows, but also thinks everyone else knows. He's MIA because he and his band had a tour-conflict nobody realized when signing contracts.
  • Fit knows it's a TV show because a rival production company that does Survival-esque shows (2b2t) sent him to check out their competition.
  • The crew genuinely doesn't know if Luzu knows or not.
  • Bad figured out it wasn't real but keeps forgetting because he gets wayyy too in-character.
  • Maximus knows because he's part of the crew. "Gordinho Gostosiho" is their way of interviewing the stars of the show without them realizing that they're on a TV show within a TV show.

I think it'd be really funny if the Brazilians and French legitimately crash-landed on the Island in the middle of filming and the producers were just like "This is great for numbers, let's leave them there and see what happens." (This would also mean Felps is "in the know" now because he hung out with the crew while he was "kidnapped." He just didn't tell anyone about it when he came back because he thinks it's hilarious).

for a while there i was sympathetic to tumblr because of how much they’re in debt; i was kind of like “well of course they’re absolutely desperate for new users, they literally need the money or else tumblr goes down forever”. and then suddenly today it hit me that there’s actually no fucking reason for that debt to be causing these ui changes? the userbase has been INCREDIBLY clear about what they want from tumblr over the years, not to mention clear about the fact that even twitter people don’t need this place to look like twitter. it actually would be very… EASY? for them to just make changes in a direction people would actually be HAPPY with?

for fuck’s sake there were people trying to organize a “crab day” for tumblr despite tumblr doing nothing but telling us to go fuck ourselves for months on end. there were people spending hundreds of dollars on check marks just for the glee of MAKING FUN of twitter. can you IMAGINE how much money this userbase would donate to tumblr if they actually made ui updates geared toward what people have been asking for?

if tumblr actually crowdsourced ideas or even just LISTENED to their userbase it may have been possible for them to make way more money than they’re begging for now, they just insist on trying to drive their actual demographic and loyal userbase out for literally no reason
